The Omega Constellation has stood as the pinnacle of precision and refined elegance in Omega’s catalog since its introduction in 1952. Originally created as the brand’s flagship chronometer dress watch, the Constellation was designed to demonstrate Omega’s technical superiority following decades of record-breaking successes at the Swiss observatory trials—symbolized by the iconic Observatory medallion and eight stars featured on the caseback.

The reference 168.010 is an exceptionally uncommon execution within the vintage Constellation family. With its well-proportioned case and distinctive recessed, hidden crown architecture, it presents an extraordinarily balanced and modern profile on the wrist. While steel examples of the reference occasionally appear, this execution in full 18K yellow gold represents the ultra-rare DeLuxe tier of Omega production.

Unlike standard models, the DeLuxe series was distinguished by factory dials made from solid gold. This specific example features a magnificent solid gold dial adorned with applied yellow gold baton markers featuring genuine black onyx inlays—a subtle, highly sought-after detail that provides stark contrast and unmatched depth. The watch retains all of its original external components, including the factory untouched dial and the original Omega-signed plexiglass crystal.

Inside beats Omega's chronometer-certified automatic movement, which has been thoroughly inspected by our watchmaker and displays strong mechanical health with an amplitude of 260°. Mounted on a premium blue Saffiano leather strap and completed with an original vintage Omega pin buckle, this 1966 Constellation DeLuxe is a museum-grade example of golden-age Swiss watchmaking.
