The Heuer Carrera is one of those functional items whose excellent design enabled it to transition from a useful utility to a famous piece of design. It looks amazing on the wrist, much like any classic Carrera.
The reference 3647S is one of the purest expressions of Jack Heuer’s iconic chronograph design philosophy. Introduced during the 1960s, the Carrera was created with legibility and functionality at its core, resulting in a timeless aesthetic that remains highly sought after by collectors today.
This example features a clean silver-white dial that has aged gracefully over the decades, retaining the elegant and purposeful appearance that made the Carrera a motorsport icon. The case remains particularly attractive, with strong bevels and well-defined edges that indicate it has avoided excessive polishing throughout its life. Powered by its original manual-wind chronograph movement, the watch is running strongly and remains a compelling vintage chronograph for both seasoned collectors and enthusiasts entering the world of vintage Heuer.
