After its first release in 1952, the Constellation swiftly rose to the top of Omega's bestseller list. Although the Speedmaster and Seamaster frequently overshadow it these days, we believe the Constellation models in all of their variations, are underappreciated and consequently present a fantastic chance. For many collectors, this example's geometric dial without a date is a bonus (and we can understand why you might feel that way). Additionally, you receive an in-house Omega movement: the chronometer grade, self-winding, 24 jewel caliber 551, which is fantastic, classic, and one of those movements that used to make people remark, "If you want to impress your friends, buy a Rolex; buy an Omega if you want to impress your watchmaker.”
We believe that this watch has a far more unique appearance than other more conventional dress watches, such the Patek Philippe or Longines Calatravas. It's also a great find in and of itself and a fair entry into the world of vintage Omega.
