Today's offering features this highly collectible classic - the Omega Constellation ref. 2852.
As one of the most enduring watch brands, Omega Constellation stands alone as an icon. Smaller watches have become increasingly popular in recent years, and this trend is only going to continue. The line was unveiled with the intention of showcasing OMEGA's craftsmanship by incorporating premium movements into a classic design. A star is featured on the dial's button as a constellation reference. Additionally, the case-back features the Observatory Logo, which serves as a reminder of Omega's prize-winning timepieces that were assessed in 1933 and 1936 at the Kew Observatory.
Of the many variations of the Constellation through the years, the most celebrated are those that feature the pie-pan dials from the 1950s and 60s. Apart from the obvious depth the pie-pan effect creates, these watches boast beautiful marker variations and dial details. All of these, this beautiful example has to offer. The 18k gold markers are one of the most sought-after features by seasoned collectors, and both the markers and the hands are made of solid gold.
