The Day-Date, which is adored by many watch enthusiasts, represents Rolex and its dominance in the watch industry. Accordingly, one of the main timepieces made by Rolex is the Day-Date.

This 1976 yellow-gold model has a full set of exquisitely aged lume plots and a warm silvered dial. The baton indexes and handset that are prominently set and associated with Datejusts and Day-Dates from the era of to this reference from 1976 to the present Day-Dates. In comparison to the Datejust, the Day feature at 12 o`clock is a distinct and practical feature of the Day-Date and in this version in English language. Along with these unique features, this watch has an exquisite look and feel that we as watch collectors love.
Dating to 1976, this 1803 features a beautiful champagne pie pan dial. The dial features broader applied baton markers and matching hands. That is how the moniker 'Wide Boy' came about. A lovely small detail is that the model name Day-Date on the dial is printed without a hyphen, so it reads Day Date. This unusual item appears only on “Wide Boy” Day-Dates. In addition, the dial of this beauty is shielded by plexiglass, providing the watch with a genuine vintage appearance.
